Functionality is defined as, “The quality of being suited to serve a purpose well; practically.” We all have purpose in life whether is be your family, career, sport, hobbies…Our job is to better suit you to take these head on with a healthy & functional body.

Mobility.

Life requires many things of you whether it be picking up your newborn son/daughter, turn a wrench under a vehicle, trek mountainsides during the hunt or whatever drives your daily existence. Mobility plays a main function in all things.

Strength.

Whether you are a young athlete or a retired office worker, strength is important through all stages of life. The athlete lifts to get stronger at their sport, the retiree lifts to keep strong and healthy muscles/bones to continue to pursue their passions and support family.

Meet the Coaches


  • Founder/Owner/Coach

    A passion for CrossFit and the main programmer for CFK, Jake brings energy and passion to the classes. Jake has a strong history with CrossFit and strength training.


  • Owner/Coach

    RJ has been coaching and managing gyms for a long time. RJ brings lots of passion to CFK and is always looking for ways to expand health and wellness in to our community.


  • Coach/Yoga Instructor

    Haley has been studying and instructing yoga for 5 years. Her general style is a yin and slow flow practice. She finds it important to find a sense relaxation while benefitting the mind and body through breath-work and movement.

    The only way to explain Aufy is “Intense and focused” You want a coach with passion for the sport and a drive to push you to be better? Attend any class Aufy is coaching & that will be exactly what you get.

    Mandi started as a member with CFK from the beginning and has showed amazing dedication and work ethic in her years with CrossFit. Mandi is now putting her work ethic to good use with CFK by passing on her amazing skills she has obtained over the years and passing on to our members.

    Bringing education to Fremont Public and to CrossFit Kohana, Tim is a great educator and brings those skills to the gym for all of his classes. Tim has been with CFK since the beginning and continues to push day after day.
